Thank you. and Yes! It always surprises me and starts to bloom in January even though temperatures continue to fluxuate below freezing. It's still blooming now at the beginning of March. But of course, I live in more temperate climate than you must. We infrequently get knee deep snow except on our mountain, Mt. Hood.
