KETTLE'S ON - ANYONE CARE FOR A CUP OF TEA?
You've seen my tea cups - even though photography is really both my art and my hobby, I decided to show you what I put in all those varied cups - varied tea!! Black, Green, decaf and caf, herbal insfusions, oat straw (have you seen the movie Harold and Maude - let's talk)
So many teas are made here in Portland, Oregon (or other Oregon cities). We aren't just a coffee haven.
Who has heard of Tazo tea, Steven Smith Teamaker, and Stash tea? All Oregon companies. But I do venture out in the rest of the world - Africa (rooibos), England (Twinings of course), California (Traditional Medicines, Numi).
What's your favorite tea? Mine is currently Steven Smith's Darjeeling.

I'll keep a look out for it (well, online for now). And how cool about the other one. Do you make it, or can one buy it?
'Harold and Maude' is my all time favorite movie. I saw it first before anyone had told me the plot line, was just going with a high school friend and her mom to what was billed as a comedy. I got the full force of the beginning of the movie - luckily stayed to start getting the jokes. But it is a full movie, not just humor (well, you know that already). I never knew that Oat Straw tea was a real thing until a few years ago my daughter brought back some tea for me from England and there in the ingredients was Oat Straw!! It's really quite lovely.
Are you getting bits of sun like we are finally?
Karen's Place club has replied to raingirl clubMy boyfriend took me to see "Harold and Maude" back in 1977 and we both just loved it! I own the DVD now and have seen it many times over the years. It's such a classic. I've never had Oat Straw tea though. I'll have to try it sometime.
We have been getting bits of sun here and the forecast is for more this week. I intend to enjoy it. I hope you can get out in it too. :)

raingirl club has replied to Taormina clubI only drink one or two cups of tea a day and always a different one!
raingirl club has replied to Gudrun clubYay! A new tea for me to test out - thanks!!
Gudrun club has replied to raingirl clubraingirl club has replied to Xata clubI love teapots, but rarely use them as I usually one have a cup in the late morning and a cup in the evening. Now if I had room for a collection, I would have many. I do have many bowls. I keep looking for the perfect one to use for tea.
And I do indeed have enough - I just can't not.
raingirl club has replied to Ulrich John clubI really like coffee as well, but I have to drink low caffeine (half caf, half decaf? yes, i'm that obnoxious coffee orderer) and not very often, so it is usually reserved for when I'm out and about - so... not any right now.

raingirl club has replied to William Sutherland clubi am lucky to be able to stay home except for the one day a week i go to help my mother (96 years old!), so i'm doing my best. i hope you stay peaceful and well also.
raingirl club has replied to Blue rubber octopus clubI like both coffee and tea - though tea is what I tend to drink at home. I think mixing it up is a good thing for me. Glad you can finally enjoy your jasmine - it's great tea!
raingirl club has replied to Keith Burton clubEnglish Breakfast? A staple in our house - the two red boxes in the top right of the drawer, English Breakfast by Twinings of London (both caffeinated and decaf) and to the left of those, one by Tazo.

raingirl club has replied to Alltagsradler TeltowFast meine.

Loose Tea or Tea Bags ???
raingirl club has replied to Peter Castell clubI do both loose and bag - I compost them both (after removing the tags and staples - if any).
You're the first one to have me stumped - I don't know Yorkshire Gold? I now need to know! What is it? A black tea, I assume?
A great collection of teas- very nicely shown.

I'm Italian so ... yes, espresso is my thing, but I don't disdain the occasional herbal tea. Our latest favorite is Greek Mountain Tea. If you have not tried it ... it's worth reshuffling you beautiful re-ordering of the tea drawer to make room for it! :)
raingirl club has replied to Annalia S. clubI will have to look for Greek Mountain Tea, I don't know it! And the tea drawer is always in flux, so no problem making room for something new!
I really like the feeling of hovering over the tea drawer! A warm and cozy shot, raingirl.
raingirl club has replied to Diane Putnam clubGlad you like the photo. Thank you. - was trying to get the steam from the kettle to show as well, but it wasn't cooperating.
