Torquay 1924 - mainly Marjory - with Phyllis in one shot

Although I have converted most of these images to black & white, as it seems to improve the clarity, I thought that this group looked classier in sepia. They were displayed like this in Marjory's album However, the page was faded and the prints had been trimmed with scissors so I have squared off the edges and put them on black.
I hope that this collage is acceptable to the Vintage Theme Park group. I have always presented this as they appeared in my great aunt's album. I have assumed that this was at an hotel.

Alan Mays, Smiley Derleth, Deborah Lundbech, have particularly liked this photo

That's a lovely series and it works so well the way you have set it up!
Very nice.

Thanks, Deborah. Their father was a tailor with an up-market business in Hereford, supplying country houses with tailored suits and uniforms for the staff, also church vestments and army officers' uniforms, so the ladies of the family were always smartly turned out. The shop is still there, but with shirts at £80 a piece, a less well-off relative like me can't afford to shop there.
