The Adur Ferry Bridge opened in 2013 - Shoreham - 9 4 2015
This the official name for Shoreham's new(ish) footbridge. The glass panels make viewing the river easier, although there is inevitably a film of salt on the glass. But that is a whole lot better than the previous bridge, with its concrete side panels. That one can be seen in www.ipernity.com/doc/philsutters/36926878
The central section swings around the cylindrical pivot, to allow pleasure craft to sail up the River Adur.
