The hunt . .
in blue feathers ..
close to the lake shore ..
he took his time ..
stopping to look ..
listen ..
slowly move those long legs ..

it is easier to photograph here ..
since much of the reeds / grasses ....
have been cut back ..
but, it seems harder for these elegant ..
friends with feathers ..
to catch a morsel ..
