There are many sand pits around Sulejówek.
Some of them are one hundred years old, remembering times when sand and clay (from numerous clay pits) were used to rebuilt Warsaw and nearby towns after WWI.
Some are deep, some are shallow, all are dry with trees struggling to survive at their borders.

Let me say it:
It is "my kind of fence".
It tells me that I am trespassing but
at the same time it invites me to do just that :)

W-Hour in Sulejówek

I am testing an old Russian (Soviet) MTO 500mm f/8 mirror tele lens
(borrowed from a friend).
It appears to be a good choice for street candid shots :)
Crazy donut-shaped bokeh made its statement here obscuring shapes of dark leaves in the foreground.
Disclaimer: the middle finger was unplanned ;) I am not going to discuss its meaning :)

As I have "a thing for roots" I decided to start a new album with my findings.

I know, I know... it is just clay and debris taken from the bottom of Glinianki (there were clay pits and brick yards there, now being converted into an eco-park) but I could not resist the light ;)
See the note...

Trees in summer attire are almost unrecognizable.
I am not 100% sure if it is the same tree that I shot in spring.

I am testing an old Russian (Soviet) MTO 500mm f/8 mirror tele lens
(borrowed from a friend).
It is a close-up taken from the lens minimal focusing distance: 4 meters. Correction: I was standing more than 4 meters from the orchestra. Still it is a close-up on the lens terms ;)
What you see in the background is donut-shaped bokeh typical for mirror lenses.
