There are many sand pits around Sulejówek.
Some of them are one hundred years old, remembering times when sand and clay (from numerous clay pits) were used to rebuilt Warsaw and nearby towns after WWI.
Some are deep, some are shallow, all are dry with trees struggling to survive at their borders.

Marta Wojtkowska club has replied to Guy Bacca (guybac) clubThis shot was taken at about the same hour as the previously published one, but three months earlier. Sun was higher, yellow sand was bright... :)
Thanks!
Thank you, my dear, but this shot has not been explored. Or I missed the moment ;)
