On the larger fragment, at the shoulder, a band of tongues, alternating with black and red; below, on the obverse, head and upper body of a helmeted Athena to right wearing her aegis, with her round shield over her left arm, with her right arm bent, holding a spear in her right hand; end of helmet crest and bent arm of a warrior to right; Reverse, part of the leg of a draped male to left, wearing a black and red himation; separating the obverse and reverse, a horizontal palmette-lotus chain; the smaller fragment has a bit of the neck; at the juncture of the neck and shoulder, a ring; on the shoulder, a band of tongues alternating with black and red; at the far left, top of helmet crest interrupting the band of tongues; below, part of the horizontal palmette lotus-chain
