Are they three or four sided Keith? they look fascinating in this excellent image,
I also assume they propagate quite easily, nice light and wonderful detail, nice one!

I had to go out into the garden and have a look...........and surprisingly the answer is...........some are three sided and some are four sided. Who knew? I have no idea why!

We grow this this one in a pot, but we've collected some seeds this year and are going to throw some round the back garden and see what happens in the spring :-))

Unsere Agapanthus sind auch schon lange ausgeblüht. Bald kommen sie in des Winterlager.
Eine sehr schöne Aufnahme dieser charakteristischen Saatköpfe!

Ours will stay outdoors in the pot. Our winters are nowhere near as cold as yours. So far we've had no problems.
