Portsmouth Street Art (+ PiPs)

Portsmouth Street Art (+ PiPs)
Portsmouth and the surrounding area recently hosted a Street Art Festival, during which artists from the UK and elsewhere in the world spent several days painting.

These are just a few of the ones I've seen so far, but there are over 100 more I have yet to visit. I'll be posting them on IP in small batches, so as not to bore anyone.

I like them all but the face in the final pip is just stunning, it also has a thought provoking feeling to it!

Glad you like all these images Roger..........the location (with the bricked up arches) was just perfect, I think.

My personal favourite of this little collection was the image in the final PiP, so I'm glad you liked it the best too!

I think you're probably right Typo............people tend to either love it or hate it in my experience. Personally, I'm all in favour, providing it's nicely done, which I think these are.

It is indeed...............there are some amazingly talented artists out there!

Portsmouth is full of street art.........and these were part of a street art festival that saw over 100 artists from all over the world coming here to paint. I still have many pieces to find and photograph over the coming months...........it keeps me occupied :-)

Glad you enjoyed this little collection Wilhelm. Last month, the Street Art Festival saw literally hundreds of artists from all over the world painting in Portsmouth and the surrounding area. I have a huge amount of of artwork to track down and photograph yet!
