Swan with Cygnets

Captured in the reed beds of a large pond in Emsworth, Hampshire.

Out of shot my wife had thrown in some food pellets to get them to come close enough for me to get a shot :-)

Deine Frau weiß,wie man Mäuse (Schwäne) fängt lieber Keith,hahaha,aber dadurch ist eine schöne Aufnahme mit der Mutter enstanden und schön,wie auch die Kleinen hinten ins Bild noch reingekommen sind,hast du sehr schön festgehalten diesen Moment :))

Ha, ha..........yes, she makes a great photographers assistant..!! They were initially too far away for the lens I was using so she had to tempt them to come closer.

Yes, we're crack team Gudrun..!! The birds were initially too far out the the lens I was using, so they needed to be tempted to come closer.

The swans and duck around this pond are fed nearly every day by the resident who live nearby, so they're used to people and not afraid of them.

My wife makes a lovely photographer's assistant :-))
