Nigella Still Life

These Nigella were growing in between cracks in the paving and tarmac in my back garden, and they needed to be pulled up before they went to seed, so I decided to put them in a vase and photograph them. There are many more in the garden (growing in the proper place), so I won't miss these.

Taken indoors using natural window light. The background is a length of wrapping paper. Thanks for looking.
