Off With Their Heads!

Off With Their Heads!
I've been exploring my wife's sewing cabinet again (while she was out) and found these strange wooden painted beads............so of course I had to take a photo of them :-))

Please view large.

Gudrun, Jörg, Aschi "Freestone", Tanja - Loughcrew and 18 other people have particularly liked this photo

c'est mignon : il me semble bien avoir vu ce genre de petite tête chez mes parents quand j'étais petite mais en plus grand , 3 ou 4 cm

Thanks Dan. I think these were "left-overs" from when my granddaughter was small and my wife used to teach her to make things - probably a necklace or bracelet :-))

You seem to have an extraordinary amount of small photographic objects in your house Keith. All perfect for table-top photography and our enjoyment here. Very nice indeed as per normal from you. Well done.

Regards. Herb

ps I like the spotted backdrop too -

Ha, ha...........we seem to have an extraordinary amount of everything in our house mate, we're currently clearing out years of accumulated bits and bobs. I have to do something with it all before it goes to the charity shop :-)))

Glad you like the photo though!

The background is just a sheet of craft paper.

A terrific capture and delightful beads, the middle one looks slightly cross-eyed ;-))

Glad you like the shot Roger............thank you for your kind words. You're right about the middle one, but I didn't even notice until I looked at the shot on the computer.

Die Frisuren gefallen mir. Man fragt sich, wofür man diese Holzknöpfe verwenden kann. Nun, wenn schon nicht im wahren Leben, dann für die Fotografie.
Ein schönes Tabletop, Keith!

Thank you Wilhelm............I think they're intended to be used to make a necklace or bracelet for a child.

A lovely shot Keith and I like the background very much. It suits it well.

They are aren't they? I'm always in trouble Rosa, but I was forgiven as she like the photo :-))

Once again the background was a sheet of paper from a craft book.

So so...Du durchstöberst also ihren Nähschrank während sie weg ist? :))))
Gut, dass Du "nur" diese Holzköpfe gefunden hast :)
Sie gucken ein wenig ertappt...und ich hoffe, sie liegen jetzt wieder dort, wo sie hingehören= :)))

I consider anything not actually locked away to be "treasure trove"...........and therefore can be used by the finder as photographic props :-)))

I always put them back where I find them though (mostly).

Always glad to amuse you Gudrun..........I'm always on the look out for something to take photos of, especially when it's cold and miserable outside. My wife has the patience of a saint..!!
