Exmouth Lifeboat Station

Exmouth Lifeboat Station
Taken from the promenade adjacent to the beach at Exmouth in Devon at low tide. Despite the misty and murky weather the beach is still very busy, mostly with families and dog-walkers. Please view large.

Check out the PiP too if you have time.................I had a double-scoop of Rum & Raisin :-)))

Christel Ehretsmann, Fred Fouarge, Frans Schols, Jean Paul Capdeville and 17 other people have particularly liked this photo

Looks very similar to what we experienced in Weymouth Keith. Lovely picture of the Lifeboat Station. Love the PiP! What a choice! My favourite is also rum and raison, but the I tried a salted caramel ice-cream last time. Very nice, but I think I'll go back to the R&R next time :-))

Take care and enjoy your weekend.

The whole week was like this Rosa............but it stayed dry, which was good. Seeing family was the priority though and I didn't bother too much about taking photos!

I did however eat an ice cream every day...........I felt compelled to help out the local economy :-))
If I can't get R & R then it's Mint Choc Chip or Honeycomb!

Glad you like the photos..........and thanks!

Thanks Judite............always appreciated.

Strawberry Cheesecake is a good choice...........but not as good as Rum and Raisin in my humble opinion :-))

Memories of the mist on our Devon trip a year or so back. As you say pretty busy all the same. I'll take a rum and Raison too.

Cheers and thanks for sharing with our UK Landscape Photography Group , Herb

Love the atmosphere provided by the sea mist and the nose of the main lifeboat peaking out of the station, I notice people are quite warmly dressed, but it is still April after all., it is a superb capture and a nice memory of another break in Exmouth, Keith.
Vanilla and clotted cream for me, I'm afraid.

There's an age old quality about this photo. If it wasn't for the fashions it could have been taken in the 1930s. I'll have the clotted cream vanilla please. ;-)

I know what you mean Amelia...........the light was very odd that day. It seems to have muted the colours a bit.

Clotted cream vanilla is one of the only flavours I don't like :-))

A wonderful atmosphere ideal for a morning stroll. In good weather there would be a human mob. I hope you have enjoyed your Rum & Raisin Keith.

Thank you Anton. My wife and daughter has gone to visit my wife's sister in Cornwall that day, while I remained behind to dog-sit............and I dragged him along on the walk with me!
