Thanks Herb. No the "yellow thing" is a dead leaf, but I'd put a little seed on top of the wall earlier, so he was probably hoping for more!

PERFECT BIRDY!!!! The DETAILS!! Those feathers are just so amazing, Keith! And you got such a super expression too. The processing to make the background fall away and pop the bird forward is FABULOUS!! These birds are so easily overlooked but your picture shows how stunning a "plain ol' black bird can be! Well done. :)

This isn't the same species but don't you just LOVE LOVE LOVE how black can appear blue in the right light? MAGNIFICENT!

My first aaaw of the day Keith! I love blackbirds just as much as robins :) You have taken a very beautiful picture of him. The feather detail is gorgeous and that eye...perfect! The brick and stone backdrop look lovely as well. Looks like a sweet wrapper next to him that caught his eye!

Thank you Rosa.........I'm glad he raised an "aaaw" from you. That sweet wrapper is actually ad dead leaf, but as I said to Herb (above) I'd put a little seed on top of the wall earlier, so he was probably hoping for more!
