Excellent close up and superb detail Keith

It is lovely Keith and beautifully captured. I love the softened tip of the flower with the little bit of fluff (?) there! I have just glanced out of the window at my Rudbeckia and they haven't reached that stage yet....still flowering, but battling the wind and rain!

It is beautiful. And with the yellow bokeh in the background the photo really stands out.

I'd love to have this in my group 'naturey crap - crappy nature' - if you want ;)

In front of the yellow green bokeh it looks very atrractive! You caught the detail beautifully.

Nicely shot with a great bokeh. I always find focus difficult for the close up subject in a macro photo and you have nailed this.

Thanks Ed, I'm glad you approve. I frequently struggle with focusing for close up and macro shots. I normally switch to manual focus and use Focus Peaking to assist. I'm not sure if it's just an Olympus feature, but it works very well.

You have a great eye for the beauty in nature close up. I think I spend my time looking up an forget to look down.

I like to look for this sort of "detail" images............especially as we don't have the sort of beautiful and dramatic landscapes you have in your part of the country!
