Half a century or so

Right now my city and province are locked up as we do our part to be unsocial and thus stop the latest incarnation of the Covid virus. So I am looking back at some pictures of earlier, more social times.
This picture was when an old friend came to visit in 2018 and he & his wife, and I and my wife, and another couple of friends went out for a meal.
We've all known each other for decades, in some cases a half century or more.
Fuji 400 film, having expired in 2001, shot 17 years later in my little Balda CE35.
I should dig out that camera again.
. . . Even if I cannot go out with old friends yet.
