Just a partially-exposed half of a frame image on an old roll of Easter pictures I found, scanned and tinkered with just for fun.

This was one of the few portraits my family ever had with just the five of us together, because my little brother came along so much later than my sister and I. This one frame I shot in Easter - March 26th, 1978.

A Ford Model A 1/24th scale model kit I customized by chopping the top and adding a huge engine with a blower and 3 dual Stromberg carburetors. Okay, so maybe the blower and manifold/carburetor setup doesn't really work, but hey, I was a young kid at the time! Remember when these distinctive and iconic Holiday Inn signs were everywhere? A welcome sight to a weary traveller. I know my family stayed at Holiday Inns a lot whenever we were travelling. This was my second trumpet, one I got while still in high school. It was silver instead of the usual brass and I'm almost certain it was made by Bundy. I ended up trading it in for an electric guitar four years after I graduated, a move I've regretted since. I missed having a trumpet so much that I picked up another one about 20 years ago. If you look closely, you can see that it has a clear, plastic mouthpiece. You don't see those every day!
