Konica Autoreflex TC
This is a set of images taken with the Konica Autoreflex TC that belonged to my high school's yearbook staff, and which I used during my junior and senior years as their yearbook photographer. This would have been in 1978 and 1979.
Easter Eggs

Just a partially-exposed half of a frame image on an old roll of Easter pictures I found, scanned and tinkered with just for fun.
Family Portrait Easter 1978
This was one of the few portraits my family ever had with just the five of us together, because my little brother came along so much later than my sister and I. This one frame I shot in Easter - March 26th, 1978.

Chopped
A Ford Model A 1/24th scale model kit I customized by chopping the top and adding a huge engine with a blower and 3 dual Stromberg carburetors. Okay, so maybe the blower and manifold/carburetor setup doesn't really work, but hey, I was a young kid at the time!

Ex-Convict
This was our then-Governor of the State of Illinois, Jim Thompson. He ended up being sentenced to the federal penitentiary for racketeering, misusing state resources for political gain and fraud. That's all Chicago politics produces - criminals. We here at the other end of the state have to put up with all the crooked politicians that come out of the "Chicago Machine."

Holiday Inn

Remember when these distinctive and iconic Holiday Inn signs were everywhere? A welcome sight to a weary traveller. I know my family stayed at Holiday Inns a lot whenever we were travelling. I remember their slogan at the time was, "Your Host from Coast to Coast." We even stayed at this one.

Bundy Trumpet
This was my second trumpet, one I got while still in high school. It was silver instead of the usual brass and I'm almost certain it was made by Bundy. I ended up trading it in for an electric guitar four years after I graduated, a move I've regretted since. I missed having a trumpet so much that I picked up another one about 20 years ago.
If you look closely, you can see that it has a clear, plastic mouthpiece. You don't see those every day!
