World Photography Day

World Photography Day
As the image displays it turned out to be a damp and dismal day down here on the Somerset Levels,
However we braved the wind and rain to get a few ( very few) shots before retiring to a nearby coffee shop.

It may stand a large view

Eric Desjours, Deborah Lundbech, Paolo Tanino, Bergfex and 36 other people have particularly liked this photo

Well done for braving the weather to get down to basics at the Somerset Levels, Roger. Retiring to the coffee shop was a very wise move.
Happy World Photography Day, Roger.

Thank you Amelia, It is only a short distance from home but sadly the weather changed so quickly as it does on these wide open spaces but we managed a few shots before coffee and scones.

Still you captured beautiful grasses, reeds, and a classic British field horizon - to say nothing of the feel of wet, drenching weather.
I'm surprised to see the hay baled with black plastic. A big improvement on the white marshmallow types we always see here, I think!

Interesting comments Deborah, thank you,
Oddly enough in all the other fields bales were unwrapped, waiting to be collected for barn storage perhaps.
