Keith Burton ^club

A corker of a view Roger................and the one I always think of when someone mentions the Quiraing. I love the earthy colours in the landscape and your composition is superb! The sky beautiful (and typical of Skye), it looks like the weather is about to change!

I read somewhere that the Quiraing is still sliding towards the sea at the rate of a couple of centimeters per year.

Coincidence but I read the same thing re the Quiraing moving only last week Keith, Up close to the stones now one large car park so this was taken from a pull in on Uig road and is probably a better view than from up close plus my trusty old 24-240 zoom has a sweet spot between 220 and 230 mm.

The shots I took were from pretty close to the car park.........it was hammering down with rain that day.

I don't think it'll all fall into the sea during my lifetime.........I hope :-)))

The car park is now a huge patrolled pay and display and you get harassed just stopping for a photograph, the old man of Storr has the same arrangement. milking the tourist.
