The Kelpies represent the lineage of the heavy horse of Scottish industry and economy, pulling the wagons, ploughs, barges and coalships, Standing at 30 metres tall and weighing over 300 tonnes each.

I love the Story behind this photo. I browsed and learned that the Kelpies name reflects the mythological transforming beasts (as well as the mentioned the important role of the horse work in Scotland's industrial and pre-industrial past).
