Young Photographer

Lovely portrait. Looks like the setting was well thought out beforehand as well as the accessories and the photograph beautifully taken. The light is excellent with just enough shadow to add definition, the colors and tones are superb, and the background beautifully out of focus so as not to detract from the subject. If I have any criticism, it's that the title doesn't seen to fit. There's nothing in the photo to indicate that she is a photographer, but that's so minor it's hardly worth mentioning.

Thanks for your feedback, Keith. When capturing a stranger, there usually is not much time for setup or positioning. The black straps around her neck are attached to her camera :-) I preferred a head and shoulders shot.

A lovely portrait of this young lady with the sparkling smile. Australian sun is always difficult to control, particularly when the subject is wearing a hat throwing shade across the face, you've done well in the conditions.
