Wenn man an Odysseus denkt und an seine Begegnung mit den Sirenen, dann gingen solche Begegnungen nicht immer gut für Männer aus. Odysseus liess seiner Mannschaft Wachs in die Ohren stecken und sich selbst an einen Mast fesseln, um sich nicht durch den Gesang der Sirenen ins Wasser locken zu lassen.
