Thanks, Keith. The conventiional wisdom has it that we read photos left to right (unless we use a right-to-left alphabet), but it's not being supported by your and Leon's approaches, or mine for that matter.

I think I tend to zoom in on a point of interest (wherever it is in the frame) first.
