The geometry in this is interesting, but then I tried to sort out the shafts of light and shadow, and after a while gave up. Now, it makes me feel uncomfortable.

I think I'll have to look a bit longer at this myself, Bob. Thanks.

Shadows and light and hidden subtext. Perhaps.
And how very sad that your town was in the news in such a way as no one wants to see their town being spotlighted.
Shadows and light.

Thanks, Sarah. It's interesting how the press focusses on anti-Muslim atrocities committed by individuals and ignores those practised by "communities" and governments. Except the New Humanitarian, of course:

The author of that, by the way, was on my treatment team as a resident when I was in Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto a few years ago. She went on to become valedictorian of the class. And back in 2014 she went viral, apparently for being nicer than doctors are expected to be:

Actually, I suppose if the government is China's, then the press cares. European ones, though -- "Nothing to see here, move along, please."

A very eclectic mix of lines (horizonal and vertical and diagonal), geometric shapes and colour. The contrasting light and shadows are lovely but somewhat confusing (as rdhinmn seems to have found).

I find it fascinating but baffling................and I like it a lot!

Thanks, Keith. I have my doubts about it, too. I debated whether I should post it fir a while.
