Der 3318 m hohe Granatkogel ist vom Parkplatz direkt an der Tunneleinfahrt am Timmelsjoch gut zu sehen. Auf ihm verläuft die Grenze zwischen Tirol in Österreich und Südtirol in Italien. Er ist Teil des Naturparkes der Texelgruppe.
