Approaching Storm
I was on Stanage Edge supervising some students engaged in fieldwork. We watched these approaching dark rolls of cloud with some trepidation, wondering whether to run for cover from the exposed edge and risk of lightning strikes, to seek shelter among the tumbled boulders below the edge. However, the storm was already waning at this point and all we got was a couple of minutes of heavy rain and cold gusty winds, soon to be replaced by bright sunshine again.
