Mojave National Preserve Granite Pass (#1020)
Making a 30 mile leap, to a point just north of Granite Pass on Kelbaker road in Mojave National Forest. The Granite Pass area is always one of my favorite areas on this route because it represents a shift to an area of dramatic granite boulders that are a stark contrast to much of the rest of the preserve.
