Quinault Rain Forest (#1385)

From the Quinault Rain Forest trail, a short (.5 mile) trail in Olympic National Forest. The documentation along the trail is exceptionally good and, because the trail is not in Olympic National Park, it is much less popular than the Hoh Rain Forest trails in the Park. It's easily accessible from US 101, so is a good introduction to rain forest ecology.
