September 1998 – Mil-Ken Travel D22 XPF, a LAG Panoramic new to Sussex Leamland of Burgess Hill in October 1986, parked on Field Road, Mildenhall. Quite a recent acquisition at the time having come from Belle Coaches (Shreeve) of Lowestoft the previous month. It was very soon re-registered as LIL 9456.

Saturday 16 April 1994 - Mil-Ken Travel C753 RJU seen travelling down the High Street in Mildenhall. It is a LAG Galaxy bodied DAF SB2300 new to Owen of Oswestry in October 1985.

Sunday 11 June 1995 – Mil-Ken Travel C262 WBC seen at Barton Mills. This service station on the approach to Fiveways on the eastbound carriageway of the A11 has sold different fuel brands over the years. Once a Fina station it was selling Esso fuel at the time and later became BP. I suspect the driver had just popped in for something from the shop rather than for fuel because this garage was not too far from the Mil-Ken yard at Kentford. It is a Willowbrook Crusader bodied Bedford YNV that had been new to Cresswell Coaches of Moira, Leicestershire in May 1986.

Sunday 11 June 1995 – Mil-Ken Travel C262 WBC seen at Barton Mills. This service station on the approach to Fiveways on the eastbound carriageway of the A11 has sold different fuel brands over the years. Once a Fina station it was selling Esso fuel at the time and later became BP. The building on the extreme right edge of the photograph was AJ’s Restaurant (Pancake and Waffle Shack in the 2010s). I suspect the driver had just popped in for something from the shop rather than for fuel because this garage was not too far from the Mil-Ken yard at Kentford. It is a Willowbrook Crusader bodied Bedford YNV that had been new to Cresswell Coaches of Moira, Leicestershire in May 1986.

Saturday 23 May 1998 – Mil-Ken Travel subsidiary Storeys Coaches GIJ 7497 seen at RAF Mildenhall between trips on the ‘Liberty Link’ shuttle for USAF personnel at the Air Fete. It is a LAG Galaxy bodied DAF SB2300 that had been new to Marchwood Motorways of Totton registered CFX 424Y.

Saturday 13 March 1999 – Mil-Ken Travel HIL 3468 heading westbound on the A11 at Barton Mills. It is a Duple 340 bodied DAF MB230 that had been new to D Jones and Sons Limited (Ffoshelig Coaches) of Newchurch, Carmarthenshire in September 1987 registered E345 EVH.

Saturday 23 May 1998 – Mil-Ken Travel BEG 438T seen at RAF Mildenhall working the ‘Liberty Link’ shuttle for USAF personnel at the Air Fete. It is a Duple Dominant bodied Bedford YMT new in August 1978 to Fox of Hayes registered BUR 432T.

Tuesday 14 June 2011 (1119) - Mil-Ken Travel JIL 2189, with Plaxton Premiere bodywork, seen in Recreation Way, Mildenhall having just left the Swimming Pool on a school related charter/contract.

Monday 19 May 2014 (1124) - Mil-Ken Coaches from Kentford, near Bury St.Edmunds - Volvo 9700 heading eastbound on the A11 road at Red Lodge.

Friday 29 September 2017 (0834) – Mil-Ken Travel JAZ 5714 seen emerging from Queensway to the High Street at Police Station Square in Mildenhall. It is a Plaxton Premiere bodied Volvo B10M that was new in August 1997 to Bus Eireann, Ireland as their VP63 registered 97D45860. Upon sale to the United Kingdom it received registration number R909 CAU. The Mildenhall town sign stands in front of the former Court House building which is now occupied by a veterinary practice.

Wednesday 7 November 2018 (0841) – A road closure around Queensway and New Street in Mildenhall for a few days resulted in some unusual sightings around the town. The driver of Mil-Ken Travel JAZ 5714 was battling through the cars of the school mums on Folly Road. It is a Plaxton Premiere bodied Volvo B10M that was new in August 1997 to Bus Eireann, Ireland as their VP63 registered 97D45860. Upon sale to the United Kingdom it received registration number R909 CAU.

Friday 5 January 2018 (1521) – Mil-Ken Travel VJI 8204 seen in North Terrace, Mildenhall when working an afternoon school contract. It is a Plaxton Premiere bodied Volvo B10M-61 new in August 1998 to Bus Eireaann as VP76 (98D 54641). Upon import to the UK it was registered S534 ETV.

Friday 5 January 2018 (1504) – Mil-Ken Travel 412 CRU seen in North Terrace, Mildenhall when working an afternoon school contract. It is a Plaxton Excalibur bodied Volvo B10M-62 new to Excelsior, Bournemouth as A11 XEL in April 2005. Other registration numbers carried by this coach include R926 LAA and 166 UMB.

Tuesday 29 July 2014 (1239) - Mil-Ken Travel JIL 7562, a Plaxton Paragon bodied Volvo B10M, seen at Jimmy's Farm, Wherstead near Ipswich. The Mil-Ken name originates from John Miller of Kentford and whilst the Kentford premises are still owned the main base for the business is at the former Storey's Coaches garage in Littleport, a company acquired by Mil-Ken some years ago. I have read that this coach was previously registered Y161 EAY and was new to Garcia Tours of Queens Park, London W9 in March 2001.

Tuesday 13 October 2015 (0836) – Mil-Ken Travel MIL 1024 seen at Great Heath School, Mildenhall. It is a Plaxton Panther bodied Volvo B12B that was new to Flights Hallmark in February 2007 as KX56 OVO. It later was re-registered Y1 HMC reverting to its original number when sold on.
