Saturday 20 August 1988 – From the days when the A11 travelled straight through Red Lodge we see a Plaxton Supreme coach possibly from the West Midlands taking holidaymakers to the East Anglian coast. The coach following is a Duple Dominant operated by Yorks Travel of Coggenhoe, Northamptonshire.

Things have changed along here in the years since the A11 by-passed Red Lodge. The road width has been narrowed and wide cycle/footpaths created. Lots of residential homes now line the road.
