Guide Friday CBV 9S in Chipping Camden – 29 Apr 1999 (413-30A)

Thursday 29 April 1999 (approx. 1445) - Guide Friday became a countrywide sightseeing operation following its success with open top bus tours in Stratford-upon-Avon. The company employed secondhand buses most of which had been converted to open top.

This one however, seen operating the Cotswold Tour in Chipping Camden was a little different. CBV 9S, an Eastern Coachworks bodied Bristol VR, had been new to Ribble Motor Services (fleet number 2009) as a covered top double decker in August 1977. During 1997 it was converted by Guide Friday to single deck style.
