Ambassador Travel (National Express contractor) 215 (BV19 XPU) at Fiveways, Barton Mills - 4 Nov 2020 (P1070920)

Wednesday 4 November 2020 (0926) – A poor but busy shot on the eve of another Coronavirus lockdown which also records an Ambassador Travel coach I hadn’t photographed before (and the only one so far because I messed up the frontal shot!).

Ambassador Travel 215 (BV19 XPU), a Caetano Levante bodied Scania K360 new in June 2019 seen at Fiveways, Barton Mills when working the 0730 National Express service 491 from Great Yarmouth to London (Victoria).

P.S. National Express withdrew services on this route for the duration of the second lockdown (effective 5 November to 2 December 2020 as I write). Whilst it is difficult to say just which and when the services actually ceased I can say for sure there were no services from Monday 9 November. The National Express website stated a new timetable would be in operation from Sunday 8 November but with no services(!) yet the 1800 London-Great Yarmouth service did run according to the 'Bus Times' tracker website.
