Temporary bus stops in Emmanuel Road, Cambridge for Covid-19 - 1 Sep 2020 (P1070510)

Tuesday 1 September 2020 (0824) – During the Covid-19 Coronavirus Pandemic a number of temporary bus stops were created in various parts of Cambridge city centre to reduce the volume of passengers needing to congregate in the bus station. This is a scene in Emmanuel Road not very far from Drummer Street bus station where the temporary stops were identified by the prefix ‘ER’.

Three Stagecoach in Cambridge buses are seen in this view. Parked at the temporary stops are 27854 (AE13 EEA), an Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro300D new in March 2013 and 19579 (AE10 BWM), an Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro400 bodied Trident new in March 2010. On the left passing through is 15214 (YN15 KHL), an Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro400 bodied Scania N230UD new in August 2015. Note the message displayed on the destination indicator.
