Former Ribble 1274 (RRN 423) at the RVPT Rally in Morecambe - 26 May 2019 (P1020431)
Sunday 26 May 2019 – On display at the Ribble Vehicle Preservation Trust 'Morecambe Vintage Bus Day' which celebrated 100 years of Ribble Motor Services.

RRN 423 is a Weymann bodied Leyland Atlantean PDR1/1 that had been new to Ribble as their 1274 in May 1962. One of the twenty coach seated Atlanteans that carried the coach livery for use on the longer distance limited stop/express services within the North West of England. These vehicles were the ‘White Lady’ class – a name previously used on some earlier generation vehicles for similar work in 1949/1950. Note the blanked out window behind which was the luggage storage area. Seating on these vehicles was 39 on the upper deck and 20 on the lower deck. The bus version of this model had seating for 44 over 34.
