Sussex Coastline 9405 (D235 MEA) in Worthing - 15 Aug 2000

Tuesday 15 August 2000 (approx. 0900) – Stagecoach South owned Sussex Coastline driver training vehicle 9405 (D235 MEA), a Wadham Stringer bodied Dodge that had quite likely been new to the Ministry of Defence, seen in Library Place just after leaving the company’s Worthing garage.

The garage site originated with Southdown Motor Services and is the building visible directly above the bus with an oval shape on it. The building on the left is the Dome Cinema and that on the right is the bus company office. In past years Southdown’s coach services departed from what was named the ‘Dome Coach Station’ although the sign on the right tells that this is now no longer the case.
