Sunday 8 April 2018 (1305) – An interesting curiosity stands on the corner of the High Street and King Street in Watford that I believe pays homage to Watford Football Club which has a nickname of ‘The Hornets’.

London Sovereign (RATP Group) ADE40435 (YX62 ARZ) passes by working Transport for London service 142 from Brent Cross to Watford Junction. It is an Alexander Dennis Enviro400 that had been new to London United (also RATP Group owned) in September 2012 (ADE35). In January 2018 London Sovereign won the contract to operate Transport for London service 142 which links Watford Junction and Brent Cross which had previously been operated by Arriva.
