DSCF5926 Mark Bland Travel M456 UKN and XIL 7321 (N755 GBF) in Stamford - 11 Sep 2014

Thursday 11 September 2014 (1056) – Two vehicles of Mark Bland Travel, based in Stamford, Lincolnshire, seen in All Saints Place in their home town. The double decker is M456 UKN, an Alexander (Belfast) bodied Volvo Olympian (probably new to Dublin Bus). Myself I know little of the Plaxton Beaver 1 bodied Mercedes-Benz single decker (XIL 7321) parked behind. From various websites I have seen it may have been originally registered N755 GBF and new in March 1996 to Bassetts Coaches of Tittensor, Stoke-on-Trent. That vehicle was operated by Chalkwell Coaches of Sittingbourne, Kent before passing to Mark Bland Travel. The buildings in the background are those of Melbourn Brothers All Saints Brewery.
