It was seen here near the White Horse Inn at Empingham when working the last trip of the day, the 1730 from Uppingham to Oakham.

It operates daily from April to September and weekends only October to March.

It was turning from the A606 into Church Street, Empingham on its first run of the day, the 0830 service from Uppingham to Oakham. Primarily a tourist related service on which a small number of bicycles may be carried, service 44 not only calls at the key points around Rutland’s largest lake but also travels via other tourist destinations in the area like Barnsdale Gardens and Egleton Bird Centre. It operates daily from April to September and weekends only October to March.
