All what remains of the old church...

This tower is the vestige of the old parish church, built during the 12th century and dedicated to Saint-Georges. The old chuch (see PIP) was demolished in February 1963, and the bell tower is all what remains. It was restored the same year and retains its function of call to prayer with its 3 bells.

This former bell tower is all what remains of a 16th century church. It is octogonal in shape, with 4 ogival-arch openings. The coats of arms of the lords of Langourla can be seen on the walls inside.

St Pierre was built in the 19th century, after the old church had been destroyed - except the St Eutrope tower which is an ancient pilgrim's place:
once it held a statue of St Eutrope, a 3rd century bishop who had the power to cure all ills. Pilgrims used to take away with them a handful of earth gathered near the tower. This earth, if applied to the invalid, then carefully returned to the foot of the tower into the safekeeping of St Eutrope, was said to sooth all pains...
