Mausoleum hidden in the forest - HFF

This funerary chapel was built at the same time as the castle, and the squires were buried here. It is said that a treasure was buried with them. During WW II, these tombs were desecrated and looted, the perpetrators no doubt thinking they would find their fortune there... In front of the mausoleum, you can also see some beautiful tombstones from the old cemetery of the municipality.

MAUSOLEE CACHE DANS LA FORET. Cette chapelle funéraire est édifiée en même temps que le château, les châtelains y ont été enterrés, On dit qu'un trésor aurait été enterrés avec eux. Pendant la seconde Guerre mondiale, ces tombes ont été profanées et pillées, les auteurs pensaient sans doute y retrouver la fortune... Devant le mausolée, on peut observer de belles pierres tombales qui proviennent de l’ancien cimetière de la commune.

IM WALD VERSTECKTES MAUSOLEUM. Diese Grabkapelle wurde zur gleichen Zeit wie das Schloss errichtet. Die Schlossherren wurden hier begraben, man sagt, dass mit ihnen auch ein Schatz vergraben wurde. Während des 2. Weltkriegs wurden diese Gräber geschändet und geplündert. Die Täter dachten wohl, dass sie dort ihr Glück finden würden... Vor dem Mausoleum sind auch sehr schöne Grabsteine zu sehen, die vom alten Friedhof der Gemeinde stammen.
