The Old Man and the Rainbow HFF!

The Misty Isle after a storm and we were heading towards the Old Man of Storr, visible of the left hand side of this shot, and this beautiful rainbow appeared.

Thank you very much George. There were a lot of rainbows that week so we spent a lot of time stopping the car for shots, - but they often seemed to fade or disappear the minute we got out! This one stayed around for a while fortunately! HFF and have a great weekend

OMG, Carol, what a moment and what a photo! I love this!

And I really enjoyed the live performance by Neil Young. I'd never heard the story behind this wonderful song. My favorite line is "Doesn't mean that much to me to mean that much to you."

The song by the SteelDrivers is so good too. A new one for me. That's a nice band.

Thank you very much Herb. Although we saw a lot of rainbows that week we found the same thing - rush to find a place to stop and they disappear, - only to appear somewhere else briefly. Fortunately this one stayed long enough for me to get a shot of it. It would have been nice to get a bit closer to the Old Man with the rainbow in front of it but I took my chances here in case it faded too! A belated HFF and enjoy the rest of your week.
