I have a lovely little Alpine Strawberry plant I've had for years, but I don't ever eat the berries, this year I've been saving the tiny things up in the freezer.
This was a really nice looking double but when I went to pick it, surprise surprise surprise!
Light Brown Apple Moth Caterpillar living inside it, liked the look and taste of it too. He does look a bit sorry doesn't he, oh well they are only strawberries...lol

I found a potatoe that had rolled behind pans in the cupboard back in May, decided I'd just plant it in a pot outside and see what would like to eat on it.
It never seemed to do well, and finally just died all yellow. A neighbour said, that means they are ready to get... I thought ok yea in a pot no, so I went to pull it up and a real live edible potatoe came out, so I dug around and low and behold, there was many! They tasted lovely too :)

She is thinking of heading into the footpath through the opening at this part of the garden, but something causes her to retreat. You see the cat in the previous photo.
I always get confused trying to figure out which to upload first for a story line....hahaha

She can hear the shutter but not quite see me on my balcony. She looks like she is having a rough lately.

We've got Herring Gulls nesting on our flat roof, the female is quite 'nervous' but both male and female were going mad and diving into the garden below us. This is why although she certainly isn't looking like much of a threat.
