injured wedgies
It's never nice to see birds in cages, especially when they are as big as wedge-tailed eagles. Trowunna Park cares for injured wildlife, and if possible, they are then released back into the wild. Most of the birds are, but the four wedgies at Trowunna are not strong enough to survive in the wild. We did see them sitting together preening each other, looking as contented as possible under the circumstances. At Trowunna Wildlife Park, Mole Creek, Tasmania
