Museo Ferroviario Camagüey - 5
MInaz no. 1445 was built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1920, construction no. 53594, wheels 2-6-2. It has been at sugar mill "Patria o Muerte" in Moron before and has been in operation at Central Carlos Manuel de Cespedes for a long time.

MINAZ means El Ministerio del Azúcar (ministry of sugar), which operates the railway system for all sugar mills.

They are restored, but I think not all original and some parts are missing. To be honest, I more like the rusty stuff, which I find in nowhere land, from a photographer's point of view. But it's important to preserve them for the future, on the other hand. Many thanks, Keith!
