Debant-Tal & Glödis

The lead animal is standing right on the hiking trail. It wouldn't be a good idea to get it excited. In an emergency, it'll be faster than we are. ~~~~~ Das Leittier steht genau auf dem Wanderweg. To avoid the herd we left the trail and crawled through the rough terrain next to it. This enabled us to take this rare shot of a calf with its mother, who was keeping it carefully. ~~~~~ Zur Umgehung der Herde haben wir den Wanderweg verlassen und sind durch das unwegsame Gelände daneben gekraxelt. The Glödis is one of the most striking mountains in East Tyrol (Austria). From here it is about 3 hours to the summit. ~~~~~ Der Glödis ist einer der markantesten Berge in Osttirol (Österreich).
