Does anybody know this nice alpine flower?
(Seen in the Zillertal Alps Nature Park on the Astegg near Mayrhofen (Tyrol, Austria) at an altitude of approx. 1,200 m, sunlit south-east location on musty forest humus.)
edit: Now clarified - Thank you, www.ipernity.com/home/daniele.neira: Carduus personata www.florealpes.com/fiche_carduusperso.php und de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kletten-Ringdistel

Bergfex club has replied to neira-Dan clubC'est un ajustement parfait.
I think thatlow down at about 1500 meters, they (or their cousins) are used here for cheese making.
