1908 Clydesdale Barn.

1908 Clydesdale Barn.
My Sunday Challenge subject: A wall.

This large log Clydesdale barn was built in 1908 by Gilbert Monroe of Ashcroft BC for Captain Watson.

It's located not far from our house at the 108 Mile Ranch on Highway 97, the main route up north in British Columbia, Canada. Located between 100 Mile House and Lac La Hache.

1915 - Captain Watson went back into service in England for WW1. Captain Watson was killed in action in France . He is remembered as an extremely generous man and idolized by the natives. He would frequently help out if they were in need, giving them a horse, feeding an entire family and hiring them for ranch work.
