Lots of smoke......
We had a bit of rain overnight, but hardly worthwhile.
It looked half decent out there this morning, we could look right across the lake. But at around 9:30 the smoke came back and it's the worse than it was before. Here's the view we have this sunday. And it's stinks more than before. Thinking about leaving, but I think we'll have to travel at least a long way into Alberta or north to get out of this stinking dangerous mess. Must be hard on people's health. I know it's on mine......another day inside with closed windows.....but I'm optimistic....it will not last forever. :-) We'r alive and kicking....watched a good church service on the internet this morning.
""In my experience and that of the pilots here, we've never seen anything like this. This fire will be going until the first snow, so once the weather conditions physically change into fall or winter, that's when the fire will technically be over. There's just so much of it, what we're doing right now is just trying to contain it."
