Das Rathaus der Hansestadt Stralsund (PiP)

Von Rostock ging es am 4. Tag weiter nach Stralsund. Die Altstadt mit ihren zahlreichen Baudenkmalen und besonders wertvollen Zeugnissen der Backsteingotik gehört seit 2002 mit dem Titel "Altstädte von Stralsund und Wismar" zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe.
Das Rathaus ist ein im Stil der norddeutschen Backsteingotik errichtetes Gebäude, dessen Baubeginn auf die Jahre 1300–1310 zurückreicht.

Das Rathaus ist ein gutes Beispiel für die dort norddeutsche Backsteingotik, Volker! – hab ich leider beim Durchfahren durch Stralsund nicht gesehen.
